The followup to the beloved classic Chrono Trigger, the 1999 RPG hasn’t received much in the way of new releases over the last 22 years. What might intrigue longtime Square Enix fans more, however, is the possibility of Chrono Cross being remastered. However, if the game is now being listed in GeForce Now’s database, it suggests that it could be real and in active development by this point, potentially meaning that the wait for Kingdom Hearts 4 won’t be too long. Said list covers a massive variety of potential game projects from a variety of publishers, ranging from new PlayStation PC ports to completely new and unannounced titles. Over the weekend, a programmer managed to access the database for Nvidia’s game-streaming service GeForce Now and unearthed a hefty list of unreleased titles. This may be good news for fans of Square Enix RPGs, however, as this latest example could provide further evidence that the company is working not just on the highly-anticipated Kingdom Hearts 4 but a remaster of the PS1 adventure Chrono Cross too, among other things. Leaks have become an inevitable part of the gaming industry and gamer experience, so naturally large-scale leaks are bound to occur every now and then, which is what happened this weekend.
